The Węgierska Górka commune is located in the southern part of the Silesian Province, in the Soła river valley on the slopes of the Silesian and Żywiec Beskids.

It offers excellent conditions for hiking along mountain trails. Beskid peaks are gentle and not high, making them also suitable for beginner tourists. Until 55% area of ​​the commune lies within the Żywiec Landscape Park.

The municipalities are included in the administrative area of ​​the commune: Cięcina, Cisiec, Węgierska Górka and Żabnica. From the north-west it is surrounded by the embankment of Barania Góra, and to the south-east by the mighty arms of Romanka. The commune is now one of the most attractive regions of southern Poland in terms of tourism. Covers the area 76,38 km2, inhabited by approx. 15 thousand inhabitants.

W pobliżu Hotelu znajduje się rzeka Soła.
Soła – przepływa kolejno przez: Kotlinę Żywiecką, Beskid Mały i Pogórze Śląskie. Rzeka ta jest pierwszym dużym prawobrzeżnym dopływem Wisły. Kaskada Soły składa się z czterech zbiorników wodnych. Trzy z nich utworzone są na rzece, jeden natomiast służy do celów energetycznych – na górze Żar (elektrownia szczytowo – pompowa)
